Grand Finale in Vigo
Wrapping Up: Our Final General Assembly took place in O Porriño
As the Circular TwAIn project approaches its conclusion, the Consortium gathered one last time for a General Assembly Meeting on June 10-11 in O Porriño, Spain. The event, hosted by AIMEN Centro Technológico, was both a celebration of our achievements and a strategic stepping stone toward the project’s final review.
Day I: Reflecting on the Journey
The first day set the tone with an overview of progress across several work packages, highlighting key technical milestones and collaborative breakthroughs achieved over the past three years. Partners shared outcomes, reflected on lessons learned, and aligned on the final tasks ahead.
The agenda also included sessions on the project's Exploitation, Communication, and Dissemination strategies. These discussions brought forward ideas to ensure the project's long-term impact and visibility beyond its formal completion.
To round off the day, participants gathered in the heart of Vigo to enjoy a traditional Galician dinner — an excellent opportunity to unwind, exchange thoughts and ideas and reflect on the day’s discussions.
Day II: Pilots and Final Steps
The second day was dedicated to the project’s pilot implementations. Each pilot team presented their final outcomes, addressed open challenges, and outlined next steps for documentation and integration. Updates on Ethics, Legal Frameworks, and Standardisation added further depth, ensuring that all elements are aligned for a compliant closure.
The meeting concluded with a strategic wrap-up session, solidifying responsibilities for the final review and affirming Partner commitment to delivering outstanding results in the remaining months.
Thank You & Farewell
A heartfelt thank you to AIMEN Centro Tecnológico for their flawless organisation and warm hospitality, and to every Consortium member for their dedication, innovation, and collaboration throughout this journey.
As we head into the final stretch of the Circular TwAIn project, we do so with pride in what we’ve built and confidence in the legacy we’re leaving behind.
P.S. While not a project outcome, the striking designer chair in AIMEN’s premises definitely earned its moment in the spotlight!
